Financial Benefits
- The scholarships cover the full tuition fee for the duration of the programme, which ranges from 13,000 to 18,000 EUR per academic year, depending on the programme.
- The scholarships also provide a monthly study grant of 500 EUR to cover the living expenses in Helsinki.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the scholarships, applicants must:
- Be citizens of a country outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland
- Have obtained or be about to obtain a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field of study
- Meet the academic and language requirements of the chosen programme
- Apply for admission to one of the eligible International Master’s Programmes by the deadline
- Indicate their interest in applying for the scholarship in the online application form
- Submit a motivation letter and a CV as part of the scholarship application
Required Documents
The required documents for the scholarship application are:
- A motivation letter (max. 1 page) explaining the reasons for applying for the scholarship and how the programme relates to the applicant’s academic and professional goals
- A CV (max. 2 pages) highlighting the applicant’s academic achievements, relevant work experience, and extracurricular activities
- Copies of the academic transcripts and degree certificates
- Proof of English language proficiency
- Two letters of recommendation
- Any other documents required by the chosen programme
Deadline
- The deadline for applying for the scholarship is January 15, 2024, which is the same as the deadline for applying for admission to the International Master’s Programmes.

Application Process
The application process for the scholarship is as follows:
- Check the eligibility and requirements of the chosen programme and the scholarship
- Fill in the online application form for admission and indicate the interest in applying for the scholarship
- Upload the required documents for the programme and the scholarship
- Submit the application by the deadline
- Wait for the admission and scholarship decisions, which will be announced by the end of April 2024
